This fully organised private trekking package is designed for trekkers or climbers who have short time but want to ascent Mount Rinjani, we offer Rinjani Second Summit of Tetebatu ( South Route ). On this trekking trip you will ascent and descent on fairly good trek trail and you will awarded by the breathtaking panoramic view of the Sun setting over the volcano with Bali and the Gili islands as an idyllic backdrop on the horizon and the dazzling blue waters of Segara Anak glistening hundreds of meters below includes the summit view from Pelawangan. This Rinjani trekking package is highly recommended for beginner or for them who have short time. This trekking tour takes 2 days and 1 night trip and will give you great trekking experience on one of the best ecotourism destination in South East Asia.
Trekking Itinerary
Arrival Day:
We will pick you up from the Lombok International Airport at Praya or from whichever port you arrive in or wherever you stay in Lombok. we will then take you directly to beautiful Tetebatu where you can check into the hotel, meet your guide and settle in. Your guide will give you a briefing on the trek program. After that you can relax and enjoy some free time in Tetebatu before going to bed.
Day 1 Trekking:
After breakfast at hotel we will start the ascent to Crater Rim Tetebatu, star from Tetebatu Village an altitude of 700 Meters above sea level. The Journey begins on the Monkey Forest ( Forest Attractions in Tetebatu inhabited by Monkeys of apes ) here we can see the Black Monkey and Gray Monkey in the very large and from this place we can clearly see the Rinjani Mountain and Tetebatu Crater Rim is our goal.
After 30-minutes walk from Monkey Forest we will enter the dense forest and the path that we are going through is new / natural and feels cold becouse many trees the sun is obscured by the thick leaves are and not feel, after a 1 hour 30 minutes we arrive at the first place for break is called Pondok Belanda or Netherland huts ( Perhaps long time ago this place have been in use by the Dutch people to rest before continuing climbed to the Tetebatu Summit and Lake Segara Anak ).
After a break we went on a trip and after 15 minutes we entered the meadow and in this place we can see the Village population is for behind us, and Mount Rinjani and Sangkareang in front stood tall, and after 1 hours 30-minutes we left the Pondok Belanda we reach Post 2 for lunch and rest.
After a lunch and anough break we will continue the journey to the Campground area and the trek quite steep. So we will reach on the Campground area of Mount Sangkareang or Tetebatu Crater Rim after 2 hours normal time and in this place we set up a tent for rest, dinner, and Overnight with the beautiful view of Summit of Mount Rinjani and Sangkareang, and also the mount Agung In Bali With the beautifull Sunsite soaring through the clouds.
Day 2 Trekking:
After an early coffee or tea and light snack at 04.00 am we will start the trek to the second summit of Rinjani Crater Rim which is 3,200m above sea level. The trek takes about 2 hours. When we reach the second summit, we will enjoy the sunrise, take in the breathtaking views and drink hot tea or coffee and biscuits, and take some photographs. We will then return to the campsite, where we will take a rest and eat breakfast. We will then begin to climb about 1.5 hours back down to Post 3, where we will take a rest. The trek then descends for about 5 hours, a picturesque remote trail through the jungle back to Tetebatu Village. After lunch at Post 1 we will gently descend for about an hour through Tetebatu Village where the Rinjani Crater Rim trek program will end. We will then take you back to wherever you wish to go in Lombok.
