Plans to climb Mount Rinjani? Try this new hiking path! Mount Rinjani National Park Authority (BTNGR) has just opened a new trail toward Lake Segara Chicks via Air Berik Village, District Batukliang, Central Lombok.
Scenery climb Mount Rinjani through Aik Berik Village Aik Berik offers natural scenery is diverse and various kinds of animals like Sesegah, Mayung (deer – red), Boar, Chicken Forests and diverse Senis birds compared to two other lines are commonly taken by the climbers, ie north Senaru Lombok and East Lombok Sembalun.
Trekking Itinerary
Arrival Day:
We will Pick you up wherever you are in around Lombok and then transfer you to Aik Barik Village, Check in Hotel Aik Barik and then meet with your guide gives you beriefing describes the route details and all about your program.
Day 1 Trekking:
After breakfast at hotel in Aik barik we prepare for all the logistic equipments. Then we start for trekking at 07:30 am.
This trek will takes only 7 hours hike through Post 2-3 and lunch at Ngoh Camp and overnight and enjoy the sunset at Umar Maye RIM, on the way you will spots some wildlife and bird and also you will walk through the best rainforest of Rinjani National Park. Overnight at Umar Maye RIM. ( L. D )
Day 2 Trekking:
Umar Maye RIM-Air Berik-Lake Segara Anak
This is your highlight of your trek, You will see the best angle of Mount Rinjani from Umar Maye RIM with its great sunrise and panorama. After enjoying the sunrise and lake Segara Anak view, We take you down to the lake which is takes 2 hours walk down hill and set your camp and enjoy the rest of the day, you can also swim. ( B.L.D )
Day 3 Trekking:
Lake-Crater Rim-Benang Stokel-Mataram,
After breakfast, walk up to the crater rim which takes 3 hours walk and down to Benang Kelambu waterfalls, here you can visit the unique waterfall in the slope of Rinjani. After ward, we take you back to Tetebatu Village and then transfer you to next destination in within Lombok Island,
